Easy Steak and Veggies | Stone Cooking Like a Pro

Oh baby... Quick and delicious, this meal is guaranteed to please.

Serves 2-4 

Takes about 30 minutes with prep and cooking

Ingredients:

  • Steak - we used 4 Sirloin, use what you will
  • Mushrooms (any kind) - we used white button
  • Asparagus - we used 1 bundle
Marinade for steak:
  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
  • 2 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 2 tsp Steak Spice

We will be dressing the mushrooms and asparagus with additional EVOO, salt and pepper

 Instructions:

  1. Toss the steak into a re-usable container (Woo! Eco-Friendly!) or plastic bag. Pour the EVOO and Soy Sauce onto the steaks and sprinkle with Garlic Salt and Steak Spice. We like to rub the seasoning into both sides of the steak. Let it marinade in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. If you have the time leave it for a few hours!Marinade
  2. When you are ready to get grilling, fire the BBQ up on high heat. *Remember, you need to heat your Primal Stone up with the grill. 
  3. While the BBQ is heating up, drizzle olive oil on the asparagus and mushrooms. Season with Salt and Pepper.Dressed Veggies
  4. Let the grill heat to 400 Degrees Fahrenheit then put everything on! (If you like your steak more well done, put the veggies on a couple minutes after the steak.)
  5. Cook steak to your personal preference. We like ours medium so we cook them for ~4 minutes per side. When you flip the steak, toss the veggies a bit.Steak and Veggies on the Grill
  6. Transfer cooked steaks to a plate and let rest for a few minutes. Serve with veggies and garnish with rosemary if you're feeling classy. Enjoy!Steak and Rosemary
